From Taylor Guitars:
Blending a responsive feel with a, warm, seasoned sound, the Gold Label 712e adds an alluring new flavor of tone to our collection of heritage-inspired acoustic guitars. This compact Grand Concert features slightly increased body depth in a frame that remains accommodating for players of all statures, combining Indian rosewood back and sides with a torrefied Sitka spruce top for a dynamic, versatile voice that responds to an array of playing styles. Fingerstyle players will appreciate the top-end clarity and sparkle of that tonewood pairing, while flatpickers and strummers will love its rich low-end presence and blooming harmonic character. The fanned V-Class bracing inside provides a boost to volume, sustain and resonance across the frequency spectrum, while the slender Action Control Neck and its long-tenon joint enhance both warmth and microadjustability. Other details for this model reflect its throwback character, including cream-colored binding with a matching rosette trimmed in black, Crest inlays, a Honduran rosewood Curve Wing bridge, and a natural glossy finish. It includes LR Baggs Element VTC electronics and ships in a deluxe British Cocoa hardshell case.
